Hi Lalor, As per the logs you are executing the setup with user Joe.INFO:        USERPROFILE = C:\Users\joe Could you execute the same with Administrator user  and check the results. Regards,Deepak Kori

The technical requirements don't mention specific operating systems, do they? Just 32 or 64 bit.

Hi FJ, Windows 8 is not Server OS, it Client OS.SAP and Database always recommended to use Server edition for Operation systems. Regards,V Srinivasan

Hi FJ, Yes. We can run...not only MaxDB, all SAP Products also we can run on XP and Windows 7. But SAP recommended to use Server edition. Regards,V Srinivasan
