ok, this seems to be a new bug.
I have created bug tracking id 1263357 and we will further analyze the issue and fix it (with 'medium' priority).
To check the status of that bug, you can visit http://maxdb.sap.com/webpts and enter that id# in the 'Advanced Search' section 'Number' field.

If you need a workaround now, please remember the 'db_deletevolume' command to drop existing Data Volumes...
