Hi,

for liveCache installations, please *only* use the liveCache packages for upgrade - do not use SAP MaxDB software. The code for liveCache and MaxDB is somewhat similar, but only the official liveCache packages come with the needed liveCache procedures and scripts, so if you are a liveCache customer, never download any MaxDB standalone software packages.

So, for liveCache follow note 1529690 only and not MaxDB note 1672252.
