Hi All,
We are trying to install a new MAXDB 7.8 on a new HP-UX 11.31 VPAR.
The installation is being run as root user.
The installation errors with the command and output below.
/exp/export/SAPCDS/731MAXDB/51044253_12/DATA_UNITS/MAXDB_HPUX_IA64
# ./SDBINST -l
ERR: Installation failed
ERR: Error
ERR: Checking installation kit failed
ERR: Checking package SQLDBC 77 failed
ERR: Software isn't runnable on your system:
testFile = elf HP-UX 64-bit msb IA64 shared object
We have logged a high priority Support message with SAP, however so far they have not been able to assist.
We cannot proceed until this problem is solved.
Can anyone please assist?
