Thanks for reply.

now i have downloaded latest MAXDB studio and installed on server, after installing studion i tried to open it but it has given error message as require JDK or JRE.

Then i have downloaded JDK 1.5 and installed but here i have one doubt when i go and check environment variable for JAVA_HOME it is pointing to sapjvm4 (which is installed by SWPM during solution manager 7.1 installation)

How can i go in this case is sapjvm is enough to run sap maxdb? if yes how do i overcome this error?

IF i need to use JDK 1.5( which is other vendor), what about sap Solution Manager system?

please help me to solve this issue?
